Cannabidiol
A naturally occurring single compound in the cannabis plant. CBD does not have any intoxicating effects, unlike the other major compound found in the cannabis plant, ∆9-THC.
Cannabinoid
Various naturally-occurring, biologically active, chemical constituents such as cannabidiol, hemp or cannabis.
Broad Spectrum
Contains more than one cannabinoid and other hemp compounds, such as terpenes, vitamins, essential fatty acids and phytonutrients.
Terpenes
Organic compounds that provide a plant’s scent and flavor.
Flavonoids
A group of plant molecules that have been attributed to their anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, mutagenic and carcinogenic properties coupled with their capacity to modulate key cellular enzyme function.
Endocannabinoids
The natural cannabis-like molecules produced by the human body whose receptors are present throughout the entire body, including our skin.
Endocannabinoid system
Part of the human body that regulates bodily homeostasis- biological harmony in response to changes in the environment.
